CPR or Chest Compressions

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR is a method used when a person is unresponsive and not breathing. Firstly, you must check for signs of breathing. You can do this by tilting the person’s head backwards and check whether he is breathing.

The main steps are as follows:

Observe the situation: Make sure the environment is safe and try to wake the person up gently.

Call emergency help: If the person is not responding, call the emergency number immediately.

Apply chest pressure: Apply quick and deep pressure (about 100-120 times per minute) to the center of the chest with both hands.

Breaths into mouth: Give two one-second breaths into his mouth while continuing with the chest compressions

2. The best thing to do in this scenario is:

Apply pressure: Apply direct pressure with a clean cloth or gauze over the wound for as long as 20 minutes. The area of bleeding should be elevated from the rest of the body as this will slow down the flow of blood to that area.

Elevate: If possible, raise the injured part above the heart.

Seek medical help: If the bleeding doesn’t stop, contact a doctor immediately.

3.
