CBSE Admit Card 2020 for Class 12th Board Exam

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination for class 12 is a yearly affair.

The schedule for this year’s examination has already been introduced. This year the annual exams are subjected to commence from 15th February. We know that you must be studying very hard for the examination and we wish you all the luck!

Where to find the admit card?

For the regular students admit card was made available on 21st January which they can collect from their respective school authorities. The admit card can be downloaded from cbse’s official website - cbse.nic.in. The school is provided with a unique Id and password, to download the admit card. 

While, for the private students, the admit cards were made available on 18th January which can be downloaded directly from the above-mentioned link.

Here is how to download-

Admit card is something you can’t forget while leaving home for the examination center and downloading the same is very easy. We guide you through the steps that are to be followed-

1. Go to the official website of CBSE – cbse.nic.in

2. Visit the link that reads- ‘Admit card for private candidates -Main Examination 2020’.

3. You can look by your application number or previous roll number and year or your name.

4.While choosing to look by name, fill in your mother’s as well as father’s name.

5. Click ‘Proceed’.

6. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

7.Download and Print.

Your admit card will hold the details like your name, academic year, hall ticket number, examination center and its code, father’s name, mother’s name, registered subjects and many more.

If there is any information that is incorrect or missing on your admit card, do report immediately to your school authorities.

Are you eligible?

Till now, all the students might already be aware of the fact that you need to have at least 75% attendance in class to be able to get an admit card generated, failing which you will not have an admit card generated for and hence, would not be allowed to sit through the examination. However, if by any chance you can justify your shortage of attendance to the school and hence to CBSE, you might be able to appear in the annual examination.

So, hurry up and get your attendance issues clarified if any.

We know that the exam dates are approaching and with that, there we have anxiety approaching. It’s okay to be stressed but don’t let your stress overpower your calm. Here are some tips you must follow to remain stress-free and excel in your board exams-

1. Do prepare a schedule you can swear by and study as it demands.

2. Do solve previous years question papers to be well equipped with the question paper pattern.

3. Let us be true, you can’t remember every single concept and theory, so here’s a tip-Don’t strive for them all, pick the ones that are of major weightage and prepare them well.

4. And, do not spend all your time planning, start to revise.

Lastly, make sure you have your admit card intact. And well, that’s it. Just don’t panic, these are just exams and they’ll pass and so will you!
