CBSE Result 2020 For Class 10 Board Exam

With the ending of examination comes the anxiety of the result. After a year-long hard work and dedication, everyone is curious about the result. For both classes, the results are tentatively scheduled. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be declaring the results on its official website.

When will the result be out?

In due consideration with the previous year's schedules, the CBSE 10 th Result 2020, are likely to be announced in early May. The class 10th result is often declared within a week of the announcement of class 12th result. This date is certainly tentative and the exact date and time of result announcement by CBSE will be updated with time. Last year CBSE class 10 - 2019 result was declared on 6th May 2019. While this year we can anticipate that the outcome should be declare in the first week of May'2020 after 12:00 pm. In any case, the date and time of the outcome are not yet affirmed by the CBSE officials.

How to look for the result?
However, when the results are out first things first-
1. Go to the official website cbseresults.nic.in or results.gov.in.
2. Click on ’Secondary school Examination (class 10th) 2020’ (All Regions)’
3. Further, enter your roll no, School no., Centre no. and admit card ID and submit.
4. Now, the result mark sheet will appear on the screen. The result will comprise your subject-wise marks as well as your pass/fail status.
5. Download and print the result.  After the declaration of the result, you need to collect your mark sheet from your respective schools.
What are the passing criteria?

To clear the CBSE board exams, you need to fulfil the following criteria-

1. You should at least score 33% marks (at least an E grade) in all of the five subjects.
2. For the subjects including practical work, you should secure 33% in theory as well as 33% in practical separately.
3. Apart from this, the aggregate should at least be 33% marks otherwise you will not be considered as qualified for the exam.
4. You would be given a pass certificate if you secure a grade above ‘E’ in all the subjects in the internal assessment.

What if I am not satisfied with my result?
You can always raise a request for a re-evaluation if you are not satisfied with the results and the results of the re-evaluation are generally made available in June. The re-evaluation application forms are released shortly after the declaration of the result. Also, if you fail in any subject, you can appear for the compartment exams which will be scheduled to be held in the month of July and its results will be out in the 1st week of August.
