In certain seasons we sweat profusely while in some other season we shiver. Explain.
Answer
We maintain a constant body temperature of 370 C. In summer when outsie temperature is more than our body temperature, we sweat to bring down the body temperature.
In winter when the outside temperature is lower than the body temperature we shiver to produce heat and raise the body temperature.
This is done to regulate the body temperature.
