Why the plants that inhabit a desert are not found in a mangrove ? Give reasons.
Answer
Plants in a mangrove are adapted to grow in saline and waterlogged conditions while those of desert are adapted to grow in water scare conditions and have thick cuticle on their leaves, sunken stomata and leaves reduced to spines to minimise water loss.
