Geitonogamous flowering plants are genetically autogamous but functionally cross-pollinated. Justify.
Answer
In Geitonogamous flowers the pollen grain comes from the same plant. It is being transferred to the stigma of another flower fo same plant. So it is functionally cross pollination by involving pollinating agent but genetically it is autogamy.
