(a) The human testes are located outside the abdominal cavity.

Answer
(a) Human testis is present outside the human body because it helps in spermatogenesis that requires low temperature i.e. 2-2.5° C (lower than body temperature).
(b) In honey-bees, ovum grows and matures into an individual without fertilization. Therefore these animals are called as parthenogenetic animals.
