Central Sanskrit University instituted the Sanskrit scholarship. Students in grades 9 to 12 and students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees are eligible for this award. Scholarships will be provided to the students who study Sanskrit as part of this award. The applications for this scholarship are available to all those students who fulfill the requirements. The Indian government has launched a Sanskrit scholarship program for the students to support them while studying the language. Under this scholarship, definition assistance will be provided to the student so they can complete their education without facing any financial problem. Based upon the selections made by the committee, the scholarship will be awarded.
The committee's suggestions will be sent to GIAC by the officials for final approval.
The list of recipients will be prepared by the officials based on the cutoff percentage of the previous classes.
The amount of the scholarship will be based on the course selected by the applicants.
A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination should be studying for a course or class that takes Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit as an obligatory or elective subject.

One needs to visit the website of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, a Central Sanskrit University and there a candidate can follow steps:
You need to click on the schemes option on the portal's home page.
On clicking this, notifications will pop up on the computer screen. You need to click the link.
When you click the link for the online application, the form will appear on the screen.
Fill the application form by giving details about your name, contact number, email address, date of birth, gender and category.
Check the application form, and then click the "Submit" button.
Take a print of the form for future use
Note: There is no need to submit a paper copy of the application form. Just fill the online application for.
The dates for Sanskrit scholarship 2025 are not yet declared by the conducting authority.
All applicants must inspect the terms and conditions of Sanskrit scholarship.
The applicant's previous academic quality must have been at least 60% (General), 55% (OBC), and 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body), or grade.
The applicant must opt Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit as his /her main subject of study/optional.
Re-apply scholarship candidates. Scholarship is not by default renewed to the next session.
You shouldn't have to mail any documents or upload any files.
To send money, the student must open an account in any nationalized bank, preferably Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, or Union Bank of India.
The Aadhar number should be linked to the bank account.
The scholarship award will be due on July 1st of each academic year.
The benefits of this program will not be extended to students who already receive any other scholarships.
Any paid employment taken by students during the scholarship period will exclude them from receiving the benefits of this program.
These benefits will not be available to students enrolled in any other course of study that does not include a Sanskrit component.
