HTET Exam (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test)

To improve the quality of teaching in the country, almost every state in India conducts its own Teachers’ eligibility test. The government of Haryana conducts the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test, also known as the HTET, which is a compulsory examination for all B.Ed candidates aspiring to become teachers in schools run by the government or private managements in the state of Haryana. Apart from this, the schools have also been given the liberty by CBSE to recruit teachers based on either the test conducted by states or on the ranks obtained in CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test), conducted by the central government.
