Success Result of a few failures

What is success? Is it your social status? Is it your achievement of a goal? Is it about overcoming failure?

Well, success is all of it. It is about the prestige you hold in society, it is about fulfilment of your goals, it is about getting ahead of your failures. But most importantly, success is about reinventing you into a person who has achieved what s/he dreams of, who is content with the levels of his achievement but wishes to pursue more. It is about self actualization.

But believe it or not, one cannot achieve success without stepping upon failures. Take the examples of popular people in the world and you will realize that failures are the stepping stones of success. Here is a list of some people who have carved success from a few failures!

Well, he went on to prove them incorrect and now every child has a better childhood, thanks to his cartoons! Dr. Seuss The most popular children books author, Dr. Seuss had his first book rejected by over 25 different publishers. But he believed that success was bound to come after a few failures and tried hard to make a mark for himself.

How can failures turn to success?

You may ask yourself! How can failure turn into success? Well, the answer is here-

  • Failures teach you what wrong you may have been doing. They help you understand the errors and reduce them in future. Whether you dream of being an actor, a scientist or an engineer, lesser errors enable you to be successful in future!
  • Failures stir the need of becoming successful. A person who believes that he can grow would see each failure as an opportunity- an opportunity to learn something and an opportunity to prove that s/he can complete the task. This results in success.
  • The idea is to celebrate failure as much as you celebrate a success. That doesn’t mean that you sit complacently thinking that things will change. This means that you should push yourself mentally and stop failure from creating a negative effect on your mind and body.

Be creative. If you have failed, try and explore newer ideas and strategies. This will help you to stumble upon different ideas that you might have never tried if you never failed. And who knows, one day your name will be taken in the list of people who created success out of failures!
