Why is CuT considered a good contraceptive device to space children?
Answer
CuT is a birth contro method. CuT stands for copper T and is categorized under intra uterine devices (IUDs); and these devices are of different types which are being used as: non-medicated IUDs, hormone releasing IUDs and copper releasing IUDs. they are made up of plastic or metal objects and these are inserted into the uterus by the expert doctors and nurses for preventing fertilization. in this, the intra uterine devices (IUDs) increases the phagocytosis of spermatozoa in the uterus and then copper ions are releases into the vaginal tract which helps in slows down the motility of the sperms and also diminish its fertilizing capacity.
This device is considered as good contraceptive device because if this is once implanted then it can be hold for too many years without any problems and also can be removed easily. These have very low rate chances of pregnancy almost less than 10%. And, they are being used in the abundant amount.
