An ecosystem is defined as the community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. It includes more than a community of living organisms (biotic component) interacting with the environment (abiotic component like rock, water, air and temperature etc.). Incomplete ecosystem referred to as such an ecosystem where one or more component is missing. Example of incomplete ecosystem: cave ecosystem and a fish tank or deep aphotic zone of the oceans that contains only consumers and decomposers but contains no producers.
