Coral reefs contains the maximum diversity. They are found in the coastal zones and are plant- animal super organisms which is called an algae ‘Zooxanthellae’ that grows inside the tissue of the animal polyp. Coral reefs are the Earth’s oldest living communities of the flora and fauna. They are mainly found in the coastal zones and are located between the 30 degree north and 30 degree south latitudes, where salinity is high or uniform, contains optimal temperature which are essential factors to colonize coral reefs.
