(1) लेखक बैडमिंटन चैंपियन थे लेकिन एक दिन ध्यानचंद को स्कूल के ग्राउंड में हाकी खेलते देखकर वे उनसे प्रभावित हो गए और हाकी खेलने लगे I

(2) भारत को इंग्लैंड से आजाद हुए कुछ ही दिन हुए थे अग्रेजो को उनसे ही घर में जाकर हराना जिसने हमे गुलाम बनाकर रखा था यह अपने आप में ही बड़े गर्व की बात थी इसी कारण सबकी आँखों में आसू थे I

(3) खिलाडियों में खेल की भावना के साथ – साथ उसे जीतने का जज्बा बहुत जरुरी होता है तभी वह अपने पूर दम – ख़म से पूरे जूनून के साथ खेल सकता है I

"60 साल की बात करने से पहले मैं कुछ साल और पीछे जाना चाहता हूँ। लाहौर को याद करना चाहता हूँ।"

(ग) क्या पिछली किसी बात को याद करने कि लिए बार-बार रटना ज़रूरी होता है या सोच-समझ के साथ उस पर चर्चा, विचार और उसका आवश्यकतानुसार व्यवहार करना ज़रूरी होता है? तुम्हें जो भी उचित लगे उसे कारण सहित बताओ।

(1) लेखक साठ साल की बात करने के लिए कुछ पीछे की और मुड़कर देखना चाहता है I

(2) हिन्दी सीखने के लिए पहले अक्षर ज्ञान लेगे फिर उसका व्याकरण उसके बाद उसको बोलने और लिखने का तरीका जानेगे उसके बाद उसके व्यवाहरिक रूप को अपनायेगे I

(3) पिछली किसी भी बात को याद करने के लिए उसे सदर्भ में जानना जरुरी है कि वह आखिर फिर क्यों की जा रही है उसके बारे में पूरा पता होना चाहिए उसे रटा नही जाता उसे केवल समझा और उसी के आधार पर भविष्य में किसी भी निर्णय पर पहुचा जा सकता है I
