Pharmacy is a profession that involves trained individuals who are responsible for the correct usage of medicine. A component college of the Andhra University, it is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and approved by AICTE. Admission is open for students with at least 50% in PCB in XII, and minimum age should be 16 years. It offers B. Pharm degree.

Deccan School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad

An AICTE approved institute, it offers a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. Eligibility criteria for admission is minimum 50% in XII with PCB combination.

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vishakhapatnam

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the J V D College of Engineering, is affiliated to the Andhra University. It offers 5 year part time B. Pharm course. Minimum requirement is 50% with PCB in plus two. 

G Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad

This college is affiliated to the Osmania University. And for admission to B.Pharm program, students need a PCB combination in XII, with 50%.

L S Institute of Pharmaceutical, Warangal

Housed under the Learners Land Junior College, and affiliated to the Kakatiya University, this institute grants a B. Pharm degree to students who have passed class XII, with PCB combination, having secured a minimum of 50%. And the course is approved by AICTE. 

Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Mahavidyalaya, Hyderabad

Affiliated to the Osmania University, you need a minimum 50% in PCB in XII for admission to B. Pharm program. 

Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vijaywada

The college is affiliated to the Nagarjuna University and the B. Pharm course is approved by AICTE. Eligibility for admission is 10+2 with PCB, with minimum percent of 50. 

Bihar College of Pharmacy, Patna

Located in Patna, the capital of Bihar, the college is affiliated to the Magadh University. Applicants need a 50% in PCB in 12 for admission to bachelor’s program. 

Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarnagar  

The eligibility criteria for admission is 10+2 with at least 50% in PCB combination. This pharmacy institute is affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University and commands the approval by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). 

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences , Chandigarh

Under the Punjab University, it bears affiliation also to the same. Requirement for admission to bachelor’s is 12th pass with 50% in PCB. 

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education, Mohali

This is a highly reputed pharmacy institute in the country. A student should have a minimum of 50% in Class XII, with PCB combination. 

University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chandigarh

The B. Pharm program offered by the institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Eligibility criteria is a minimum of 50% in class twelve with PCB combination.

Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bilaspur

It is a component college under the Guru Ghasidas University, and it is affiliated to the same university also. The B. Pharm course is approved by AICTE. Eligibility requirement is the same – 10+2 with 50%, and PCB combination. 

Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi  

This institute is approved by the PCI. Under graduate course in pharmacy is open for students with 50% in 12th, with PCB combination.  

Pharmacy is not only about selling and manufacturing medicine. There is a lot of research involved. It is a highly responsible field of work, which depends om proper education and training.
