Himachal Pradesh ePASS Scholarship Scheme: Several scholarship schemes are introduced by the Himachal Pradesh (HP) government to provide financial support to the students so that they can be benefited. First, you have to visit the HP ePASS website for applying. ePass scholarship is an electronic payment and application system of scholarship schemes. This is an online application portal for the scholarship schemes. This ePASS website has made the application and payment process easier and comfortable to ensure hassle-free payment of scholarships.

The HP scholarship offered is of 3 categories i.e. Centre Sponsored schemes, State-sponsored scheme, Technical schemes.

HP ePASS Scholarship Eligibility- Who can Apply?

National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education C.S.S.

• Female candidates are only eligible.
• The scholar who wants to take admission in Grade 9 is eligible.
• The minimum age limit is 16 years, as of 31st March 2020.
• All girls students who have passed the Middle Standard Exam from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya irrespective of caste, religion are eligible.

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for S.C., S.T. Scholars (9 and 10) CSS

• SC/ ST candidates of Grade 9 and 10 are eligible.
• The annual family gain should be less than Rs. 2.5 lacs.
• It is granted for 10 months.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for O.B.C. Scholars (1 to 10) CSS

• Scholars from Grade 1 to Grade 10 are eligible.
• OBC students are only eligible.
• Annual family gain must be less than Rs. 2.5 lacs.
• It is given for 10 months.

Post Matric Scholarship to S.C., S.T., Students CSS

• Scholars who are eager to pursue higher studies after Grade 10 are eligible.
• SC, ST candidates are eligible.
• Annual family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 lacs.

Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students (CSS)

• Scholars who are eager to continue higher studies after Grade 10 are eligible
• OBC candidates are eligible.
• Annual family income should be less than Rs. 1.5 lacs.

Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship to Economically Backward Class (C.S.S.)

• It is for General Candidates. The annual Family gain should be less than Rs.1 lac.

Upgradation of Merit of S.C., S.T. Students (CSS) (Only GSSS Bharmour, Chamba)

The scholarship is given to 7 students (SC-6 and ST-1) of the State, admitted in Grade 9 at the GSSS Bharmour, Chamba, based on the merit list of middle standard exams. The Scheme applies from Class 9 to 12.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme for scholars of Minority Community CSS

• It is given to seek UGC and PG level, technical, professional courses
• Applicants of Minority Groups are applicable (Muslim:37, Christian:2, Sikh:22, Buddhist:24, Total = 85 Students)
• Students should secure 50% marks minimum
• The annual gain of the family should be less than Rs 2.50 Lacs.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to Scholars of Minority Community

• Applicants of Minority Groups are eligible (Muslim:309, Christian: 20, Sikh:187,Parsi:2, Buddhist: 196, Jain: 4, Total = 718 Students).
• The annual gain of the family should be less than Rs 2.00 Lacs.
• The student should secure 50% marks.

Maulana Azad National Scholarship Scheme for Worthy minority girl students

• Girl scholars of Minority Groups (Muslim:309, Christian: 20, Sikh: 187, Buddhist: 196, Parsi :2, Jain: 4, Total = 718 Students).
• The annual gain of the family should be less than Rs 2 Lacs.
• Students should secure 50% marks.

National Means Cum Merit Scholarships

• The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 1.50 Lacs.
• Scholars who want to pursue higher studies after the matriculation are eligible.

Dr. Ambedkar Pre-Matric Scholarship for DNTs (CSS)

• For DNTs who are not covered under the S.C., S.T., O.B.C., category.
• Applicable for those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, whose family gain is less than Rs. 2 lacs p.a.

Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship for DNTs (CSS)

• Applicable for those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, (DNTs) whose family income is less than Rs. 2.0 lacs per annum.
• For DNTs those are not included under the SC/ ST/ OBC category.

Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana for SC Students

• It is provided to the best 1250 meritorious students of the S.C category.

Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana for OBC Students

• It is provided to the best 1000 meritorious students of OBC.

Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Yojana

1. It is provided to the best 2000 meritorious students of the General category.

Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chattervriti Yojana

• It is provided to the best 100 Girls and best 100 Boys scholars belonging to the Tribal Community of HP.

Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chattervriti Yojana for 10+2 Students

Awarded to the 10 Male Toppers from the merit list of 10+2 Arts, Commerce and Science, equipped by the H.P. School Education Board, and to the 10 toppers (both Boys & Girls) from the result lists of B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc., equipped by the HPU, Shimla, provided they became a part of any academic or professional stream.

Kalpana Chawala Chattervriti Yojana

Best 2000 worthy girl scholars of 10+2 of all study groups

Mukhiya Mantri Protsahan Yojana (One-time Incentive)

• All Himachali students, those selected and taken admission for degree education in any IIT or AIIMSs or for a P.G Diploma Course in any IIMs.

Maharshi Balmiki Chattervriti Yojana

Himachali Female child Scholars of Balmiki Families, occupied in an unclean job, beyond Matric to UGC Level, from any Government or Private school, college located within Himachal Pradesh.

IRDP Scholarship Scheme

Students of IRDP families and pursuing Grade 9 to PG level are eligible.

Sainik School Sujanpur Tihara Scholarship

The scholars who are studying in Sainik School SujanpurTihra in class VI to XII.

Rashtriya Indian Military College Scholarship (Only R.I.M.C)

This award is given to 10 Students who are permanent residents of H.P. and are studying in VIII to XII in Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun. 2 students from each class are eligible.

NDA Scholarship Scheme (Only for NDA Pune)

Cadets of Himachal Pradesh, who are undergoing training at National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune.

Financial Assistance to the Kids of the Armed Forces

• Martyr, disabled during the different war, operations
• Kids of Armed Forces killed, handicapped in the wars are eligible
• In case of disability is under 50%, the kids will get half scholarship.

The stepwise application process to apply for the HP ePASS Scholarship

• Visit the official site of the HP ePASS @ http://hpepass.cgg.gov.in.
• The home page of the HP ePASS Scholarship can be seen.
• Now, click the Students Login and then click “New Student Registration” if the user is new.
• Fill up the details and upload the necessary documents.
• Finally, submit the HP ePASS Application Form 2020 by checking the entered details.
• Download Himachal Pradesh Scholarship Form and cast off the printed copy of it.

Terms and Condition for HP ePASS Scholarship

• HP ePASS is available for all the candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST. Students are required to attach a hard copy of the xerox copy of the bank passbook with the application form.
• Registered candidates must submit the application form in the concerned department, in person and must take the receipt.
• Candidates should provide their effective mobile phone number, and current email ID.
• All the details and documents produced by the candidate must be authentic and true. If the information given is found wrong, then the application form and data collected will be rejected.
• Applications suspected will not be sent for scholarship and will be thrown-away at the same time.
• Failed students are ineligible and should not apply for the HP ePASS scholarship.
• Candidates who have applied for the HP ePASS scholarship or are preparing to apply are recommended not to share their details, bank account number, IFSC code, class 10th/12th roll number, password, and other sensitive information to anyone.
• Candidates can review their status of the application at any time on the official website.
• Candidates are required to produce their application ID and password to see their scholarship status.
• Candidates who have already enrolled in the portal have to renew the account by adding the updates. No new registration is needed.
