Indian Mathematicians – FAQs

Q1. Who is the most famous Indian Mathematician?
Ans. Srinivasa Ramanujan is the most famous Indian Mathematician.

Q2. Who invented zero (0) in India?
Ans. Mathematician Brahmagupta invented the zero.

Q3. What is the greatest contribution of Indian mathematics?
Ans. The most necessary mathematical contribution of ancient India is the invention of the decimal system of numeration, as well as the number zero.
