Urology is a specialization in the field of medicine that deals with the diseases of the urinary tract of females and males. The organs of the human body that urologists work on are the Kidney, Uterus, Urethra (female), Urinary Bladder, and male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas defers, prostate, seminal vesicles, etc). And urologists are medical professionals who are educated, trained to diagnose, treat, and heal patients suffering from urological disorders.

It bears a close association with other branches of medicine, that of gynecology, oncology, nephrology, andrology, endocrinology, pediatric surgery, gastroenterology, etc.
Urologists are doctors who perform such urological functions. They study problems of the urinary tract. To be able to get into Urology, you should have a science background with physics, chemistry, and biology combination in school.
