Society and family create pressure on the students at times which can make a student over-conscious, stressed, and lose confidence. The PM stated that the students have to attempt the exams as a step toward improvement. He also added the statement, by saying that the exams are not the end of life. It is just a path to step ahead. So, you should ignore all the external pressure and boost the confidence level.

  4. PM Modi also acknowledged that everyone cannot be good at everything. By this statement, PM Modi points that if the students find any subject or topics difficult so don’t run away or leave them. Try to tackle them efficiently. He also cited the example of his own by stating that, ‘I preferred to tackle difficult issues in the morning with a fresh mind and asked students to tackle with their difficult subjects or topics in the morning when their mind feels fresh and leaves the easier part of the study to late nights or for the rest of the day.
  5. The PM also advised the students that the free time is the best opportunity for the students to acquire new skills hence, the free time must be used for the activities which can bring the quality of uniqueness in an individual. The PM asked to value the free time as without the use of free time the life will be like a robot.
  6. He urges students to be the master of any one subject.  Mastering all the subjects is not important, one can choose a specific subject of his/her choice and can get success in life. Mr. Modi also explained this statement with the help of an example in which he describes the life struggle of the legendary Lata Mangeshkar who dedicated her whole life to music and singing only.

He stated the fact that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the students may have lost or wasted one year of their lives but also learned lots of lessons and also learned how to value the essential things in life. During the lockdown, the social distancing was maintained due to coronavirus but this brought the family members together and realize the love of the family.  In this modern era when everyone is busy with their work and life schedule, Lockdown brought the family close.

External Intelligence Agency

Introduction

The RAW full form is Research and Analysis Wing. Its headquarter is situated in Delhi and was founded in 1968 with the aim of counter Chinese influence on India. with time, the focus of RAW shifted to India’s other rival countries. The Indian intelligence agency{ RAW} and Pakistan intelligence agency {ISI} have done many operations against each other over the past three decades. The dispute of Kashmir gave fuel to this destructive fire. Now, the experts say that Afghanistan is emerging as a new battleground. RAW accused Pakistan of bombing the Indian embassy in Kabul.

History of RAW

Until 1968, Intelligence Bureau {IB} was responsible for the chores which today come under the RAW. Along with the duties of RAW, IB does many more operations which increased the workload on them. As a result, it gave a drastic performance in 1962 when India clashed with China.  This gave a clear thought that there is a need for a separate intelligence agency that will be responsible for external affairs. As a result, India established a separate Institution for these matters named RAW. The main focus of this newly formed intelligence agency is china and Pakistan.

RAW had played a great role in the areas listed

  • Creation of Bangladesh in 1971.
  • The growing influence of Indians in Afghanistan.
  • It secured the most important India’s nuclear program.

The first leader of RAW was Rameshwar Nath Kao {He also gave the blueprints or maps of this agency when it was demanded}. He retired in 1977. Many officials who work under him gave a reason that how the credit of initial success of RAW goes to MR. Rameshwar Nath Kao. The RAW has also been criticized due to many reasons like lack of communication between RAW and domestic intelligence agencies, weak analytical capabilities, lack of transparency, etc.

Structure of RAW

RAW started its operation with 250 employees and with a budget of $400,000 as listed by the experts. Till now RAW has expanded its operations and gave employment to thousands of people. The correct number of RAW officials, their identity, and the budget of RAW are kept secret due to security concerns. But the American Federation in 2000, estimated that the Research and analysis wing {RAW} have nearly eight to ten thousand people working under it with a budget of $145 million. Unlike the working of CIA {Central intelligence agency} and Britain’s M16, the Indian agency RAW is directly headed by the prime minister of India. The chief of RAW is the secretary in the cabinet secretariat {which is the branch of prime minister office}.

  1. Raman, A former RAW official listed in a book {The kaoboys of R&AW: Down memory lane} in 2007 that RAW mainly has only two objectives.

The main objectives of RAW listed in these books are:

  • It monitors the economic and military development of rival and India’s neighboring countries which directly affects the security of the nation.
  • It seeks the control of the supply of military hardware to Pakistan, especially from European countries like the USA and China.

From the early days, the Indian intelligence agency has close relations with Israel’s external intelligence agency {MOSSAD}. The main purpose of this close link is to get benefit from Israel’s knowledge of West Asia and North Africa. According to experts, Israel has better counter-terrorism techniques and India can learn them.

Main Objective of RAW

In the present times, the main objectives of RAW are:

  1. Managing the political, military, scientific, and economic progress of the directly influencing countries can be a threat to National security.
  2. It molds the international public opinion along with influencing the foreign government.
  3. RAW is responsible for converting the operation to keep India safe.
  4. It is also responsible for Anti-Terror operations and neutralizing terror elements in India.

During the Sino-Indian war 1962, India was on bad terms with Pakistan. RAW had additional responsibilities during this time.

  1. To keep an eye on the development of International communism and schism between China and Pakistan.
  2. It too cares that there should not be any supply of military hardware to Pakistan from European countries like America.

Functions of RAW

The main functions of RAW are:

  1. Intelligence collection by the means of espionage, psychological welfare, Subversion, Sabotage, and Assassination.
  2. Manages the active collaboration intelligence agencies in different countries.
  3. It maintains the contact with FSB of Russia, Afghanistan’s Agency NDS, Israel’s agency MOSSAD, CIA, and MI6.

Relations of RAW with CIA

India’s intelligence relations with the CIA started even before the formation of RAW. After the clash between India and China in 1962, Swami wrote that “a covert organization raised from among Tibetan refugees in India, to executive deep penetration terror operations in China”.

When the CIA fought with ISI for the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 1980s, made RAW a little worried. However, it does not give an impact on the CIA’s assistance from counterterrorism training.

This will give you more time to do things you enjoy when you finally reach home. Most of the students get some free time while in school which they usually spend in talking to classmates or playing some games. Instead of doing this, you can begin with your homework in school so you can finish it early.

Take help from your computer and internet

Some kinds of homework do not necessarily require a pen and paper. If you can do it through a computer, give it a try as you will be able to type faster than you write on paper and it will help you in quickly finish it off. In case you need to use pen and paper, you can still use your computer for Internet to find relevant information. However, make sure you don’t waste your time doing things other than your homework on your computer.

Switch off your mobile

Your mobile is probably the biggest distraction you have. If you can’t resist using it during the time you are doing your homework, hand it over to your parents and let them have it till you finish your work. Else, you can also turn it off and keep it away so that the phone doesn’t distracts you often with constant notifications.

Time yourself

When you take your work as play, it becomes more fun and engaging. Thus, you can challenge yourself by timing your homework doing speed. This will motivate you while you are lagging behind with your work. Also, you can set a particular time for your homework everyday. This will create a routine and then a habit which will require you to put considerably less efforts.

Get the things you need

Before you sit down to start your homework, make sure that you have all the required things handy. Be it stationery items like pen and paper or information that you would need for your homework. If you have them with you before beginning with your work, you won’t have to waste time later to get them which can also distract you. If possible, do it as soon as you are back from school so that you can begin immediately with your homework.

Hire professionals

In case you are too tired or lack time to do your homework yourself, hire professionals who can help you with it. They take bulk work too and have a reasonable price since students usually pay them with their savings. You can try them out if you think it will be difficult for you to finish your homework. But try not making it a habit because when you do your own homework, you also learn things in the process. Choose this option only when you are left with nothing else.

Set a personal deadline

Setting a personal deadline is like challenging yourself to do it faster than you think you can. It will also keep you in an active mindset and prevent yourself from getting bored. Moreover, having a deadline and actually achieving it will give you a much needed motivational boost while you begin with your homework the next time around.

Seek help

Seeking help is not bad especially if you are lagging behind with your work. Ask your parents or your friends to help you with your homework and most probably they will be happy to do so. If you try to do everything by yourself, not only will you consume a lot of time but you can also make mistakes in which you lack knowledge.

Take breaks in between

One of the best productivity tips is to take breaks in between and prevent yourself from being exhausted or mentally burned out. Constantly working for long hours can ruin your mentality and stunt your productivity. Thus, after a gap of 30 or 45 minutes, take a break of some minutes but make sure to not extend the break too much.

  • Be positive for your next attempt– This is what can help you rise above the depressing condition. Do not just keep thinking about the failure rather than think above it. Bring in the positivity inside you that can assist you to move ahead with a wide view to success. Just think that it was only a bad day that will not get repeated in the future. However always remember, being positive is not ignoring the negative. Being positive means overcoming the negative.
  • Make a plan – To recover from failed results, you need to assess your priorities and learn about your strength and weaknesses that you faced in your previous exam and modify your preparation strategies accordingly.
  • Change your approach– This is the next important thing to do after experiencing a bad result day. For the next time, you’ll be prepared effectively and would not let this happen again. For that, study harder and learn as much as you can, leaving no stone unturned. Work on the mistakes you made in the past exam other than the subject knowledge. The mistakes could be your poor time management, lack of prioritization, wrong selection of concepts/questions, attempting the paper in nervousness, etc. So, recognize your mistakes and change your approach towards your exams.
  • Learn from past mistakes – The reason for your laidback attitude with preparation, the strategy was not implemented smartly or it could be exam stress. List out such reasons and eliminate this from your second attempt to board the exam. Always remember that you are not the only one to face failure. Feeling ashamed, hiding, or crying will not help you anymore. But, you have a chance to come up again. Examine where you went wrong and then make sure that you take measures that will help you in your studies. Getting discouraged will not help you score marks instead focus on how to overcome depression after exam failure.
  • Seek help – You are already traumatized by your board exam result when you were not expecting bad scores yet you failed. You need to talk about these feelings to your teachers, parents/elders, or counselors to find out effective solutions to them.
  • Follow a different strategy for the next exam– When you have failed an exam, you are not able to understand what concept you lacked the clarity that you lost your marks in a paper. Just, don’t be stressed, and instead, take the syllabus for the subject/ exam you failed and start your preparation topic by topic. Cover all your syllabus, gain prominence on every topic, practice well, and appear for your next exam to score well.
  • Give your best– Sometimes, even when you have prepared well enough for an exam, but because you were stressed about the exam result. The bare feeling of scoring low, makes us feel stressed and worried. Instead of being depressed or annoyed about the exam, be prepared and confident to appear for the exam and wait for the result to reflect your hard work and devotion.
  • Never underestimate your capabilities– You feel you cannot do it again, the second attempt to board exams could be a failure too.  If you think that your problem is your low IQ or you are not able to deal with the difficulty of exams. You need to stop thinking like that right here and do not blame yourself for the bad result. Doubting your abilities won’t help you in any way. We have given exams in every stage of your school life and the board exams are no different.  So, take exam failure as learning for a lifetime, learn from your mistakes and try again.
  • Don’t keep thinking about it– When you’ve let the emotion out you need to move on. Wisdom is that you should concentrate on the things you can change and forget the things you can’t. Just a fool obsesses over something that’s rushed out within hours of the exam. But you’re smart enough so move on and don’t look at it.

Conclusion

Students need to eliminate negative thoughts from their minds by discussing their feeling with others. You will get many chances and second attempts at such exams in life. These are the events that make you strong and you learn to overcome difficulties of life. Board exams or competitive exams are important because qualifying helps you get admission to colleges. Although, failing these exams does not mean your academic and career life is destroyed.

Success is Yours As Long As You Try

Success is yours as Long as you Try

There is no single way to be successful. Whatever works for you may not work for someone else. There may not be a perfect combination of elements that can guarantee success, but there are some necessary steps you can follow that can improve your chances of being successful in life, work, love, or whatever happens to be important to you.

Life will keep on throwing challenges in the form of problems. Giving up would mean certain and immediate defeat. The single chance one has is to keep trying, one more time. Sustaining one’s efforts is the only guaranteed way to success.

Success does not come in the first attempt. We should try and try until we succeed. No one has an unbroken series of successes. In addition, everyone has faced several failures. This is only through failures that we can succeed, and we have to try again without giving up hope. Failure is not uncommon. We should not be discouraged when we meet with failure. Every failure always has something to teach us also. Those who are aware of these facts, and act accordingly will realize that failures are the stepping stones to success. It is foolish to give up the effort and weep when we fail in our attempt. Instead, we must try again. We should learn from our failures that will help us to do better or even succeed in later attempts.

None of the man’s creations has been made at the first attempt. Inventors,  writers, explorers, and scientists did not become great through their first attempts in their respective fields. Even today, people are trying to learn more about nature, space, and the universe. We hear only the story of people’s achievements in various fields. We do not know about the failures we met with, we learn that he did not let failure discourage him. Often, children may fail in the examinations or any other attempt. They should not give up their effort then. Failures will teach them and will provide them with a better effort. The world around us is what it is today because our ancestors did not give up their attempts when they failed. So we should try and try again till we succeed.

The Meaning of Success

One of the most important steps to achieve success in life is to know the meaning of success in your personal life. The actual meaning of success goes far beyond the common definitions of success, such as having a lot of money, being wealthy, having a lot of tangibles, and earned degrees. Quite the opposite: true success in life cannot be measured with the above-named factors, but instead with the number of people that can live a better and more advanced life because of what you created. This is the meaning of success. Not the awards people are collecting in their lives. Media and society let us often assume that living a successful life means to be extraordinarily wealthy and have a lot of tangibles. But the meaning of success is to live a happy life and can make this world a better place for everyone.

Definition of Failure

Just opposite of success is a failure as it means to fail while trying to achieve aims or goals. Besides this common definition of failure it also can be said that even wealthy and successful persons fail in their lives. Just think about the rich and famous and all their addictions, scandals, and suicides. All of them were extraordinary persons but a lot of them were also much unhappy with their lives and were not able to see the meaning of success. Wealth cannot be determined with money, but instead with values in your life that make you a happy person, such as relationships, friendship, and your family.

Don’t be afraid to fail to be afraid not to try

Don’t Fear Failure, Learn From It. And if you’re dwelling in self-doubt or lacking confidence that you can achieve your dream, here are some quick tips to get you back on track:

  • Take a success inventory. That’s right – think about all the times we didn’t think we could do something and then you did it. We know we have multiple experiences in your life where you rose to the challenge and saw something through. We should start focusing on those stories and use them as evidence we can do anything when we put our mind to it.
  • Get your mind right. And, putting your mind to it let’s get real no one ever experienced any success without overcoming fears and building self-belief. Study at your fears and ask yourself why they’re simply not true then ask yourself how you can re-frame the fear and create a new positive belief statement that supports what you want to achieve.
  • Build your network. Surround yourself with people who support your goals and have a positive impact on your life. As a motivational speaker Jim Rohn said that we are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Spending time with people who drag you down or who help lift you.
  • Take a step every day towards your goal. Show up every day and even when the mountain appears too steep to climb, just take a small and simple step. When you join a lot of small steps together, you cover a lot of ground. A year from now you’ll look back in amazement at how far you’ve come.
  • Celebrate the wins. Every evening, take a moment to review the success you’ve had that day. And, it doesn’t just mean the big wins, like endorsing the big client or banking that bonus. It means the small stuff too – remembering to take the trash out or making that phone call you’ve been dreading for the past week. No matter how big or small, take the time to truly recognize yourself and what you’re capable of.

Conclusion

Success is marked in the genes of every human born. Being born, in itself is a success story. It is just a matter of overcoming the barriers that lead to success. Giving up is your own desire acceptance of immediate and certain defeat. Once you stop, you eliminate every chance of getting it right. If we try one more time, you are giving life to hundred of hopes. You never know your success is hiding behind which one of these hopes, waiting for you to discover it.

Difference between Nationalism and Patriotism

Nationalism and Patriotism difference

Nationalism and Patriotism are two words that are frequently used interchangeably. Patriotism disguised as nationalism or nationalism disguised as patriotism and we are not capable to recognize it. That is incorrect since there is a world of difference between the two words, despite a few shared goals.

These two words Patriotism and Nationalism have been bandied encompassing both by the government, the media, and the people at large for some time now. Add to that another word that may be associated in some way and that is ‘intolerance’. In fact, possibly it is the word intolerance that has inspired the other two words.

Three words that was not common in our vocabulary for 68 years after independence has become common in an everyday tongue in almost every discussion on the ‘state of the nation’ discussion. You almost fall over the words thinking they may mean much the same thing. Irani also said that the debate of nationalism made her wonder why any Indian should have to explain why he or she is patriotic. I don’t have to confirm your patriotism, and you don’t have to certify my patriotism. Smriti Irani who is our Minister for Human Resource Development also appears to use the words nationalism and patriotism interchangeably and in the same breath.

Difference between Nationalism and Patriotism?

If one looks at these words they may sound similar but are very different in many ways. As both nationalism and patriotism show the relationship of a citizen towards his or her nation. Due to which two are often confused and are frequently believed to mean the same thing. Yet, there is a huge difference between nationalism and patriotism. Thus the question that arises is they being used reciprocally or many more. But some of the differences in contrast to these topics are as follows:

Nationalism Patriotism
On the other hand, Nationalism is devotion, especially excessive or undiscriminating devotion to the culture or interests of a particular nation-state. If we define Patriotism then it means devotion to one’s own country and concern for its defense.
A nationalist cannot tolerate any type of criticism and considers mainly it as an insult. Thus a patriotic person tries to learn something new from the criticism which they tend to tolerate.
Nationalism people believe that their nation as superior to other nations. The patriots believe that all nations are equals and can be improved in many ways. That’s why freedom fighters are considered as a patriot.
Nationalism makes one find some reasons for the mistakes that are made in the past. Patriotism makes people understand the shortcomings and improvements to be made.
By way of cultural background, including heritage and languages Nationalism means to give importance to all stated earlier. Patriotism pertains to the love of a nation with more focus on the beliefs and values of a particular nation.

Conclusion

The difference between nationalism and patriotism is a patriot loves his country and is proud of it for what it does whereas a nationalist loves his nation and is proud of his nation NO MATTER WHAT IT DOES. It is truly clear patriotism sustains a feeling of ‘responsibility’ in the citizens while nationalism breeds ‘blind arrogance’ or ignorance, and usually, that commences to war. In simple words, Patriotism is the service I provide to my nation, not keeping to a particular organization or group. Nationalism is the very ideals, motives, impressions that have been going on in a country, and I pride myself because of this. But, all good Communists become strong nationalists once in power. Nationalism works better than internationalism to hold on to power. Nationalism has developed a strong negative connotation. Patriotism is free from this stigma.

Never Hope To Please Everyone If You Wish To Succeed

Never Hope To Please Everyone

It’s very difficult to put yourself first when all you are looking for is the acceptance that you are succeeding in life and people are happy with what you are doing. But we should not rely on other people’s views about our lives and then adjust to living socially correct.

However, you can’t make everyone happy all of the time. You have to put yourself, your requirements, and your happiness above all others. Do what you want to do for yourself before you concern yourself with what other people may think or worry about what they might say. You are the one and only who is responsible for your own happiness.

Why Trying to Please Everyone Doesn’t Work If You Wish To Succeed

Below are the points never hope to please everyone if you wish to succeed:

1. You lose to please the one person who is important to you

But the most prominent reason to stop trying to please everyone has nothing to do with everyone and everything to do with just one person.

Trying to please everyone is bound into the fear of rejection and the fear of failure. But the biggest failure in life is failing to be you. And the biggest rejection in life is rejecting you. By trying to please everyone, then you make both these fears come true.

2. You become more manipulative

You would often feel resentful when a friend or colleague asking for more favor. They seemed to be manipulating, taking advantage.

3. You love yourself less

When the people you wanted to admire, respect, and love you now reject you, then you feel that you are not a lovable person. In fear, you increase your people-pleasing behavior and it becomes a depressing spiral.

The gap from the way you do to the way you really want to do increases with every people-pleasing act. This leaves you feeling disappointed and ashamed of whom you have become.

4. People are mostly fearful of what they don’t understand

Whatever you want from your life, whatever dreams or desires you might have, not everyone around you is going to understand them. In fact, some are likely to be intimidated by them. When one person in a group begins to succeed while the others remain within the status, then there is a certain amount of stress that’s generated.

As your journey is unique, you can’t assume everyone understands it. And it also can’t happen that every action you take or decision you makes to please everyone. It does not easily happen. But don’t let it discourage you from confidently marching towards your goals..

5. You found yourself less trustworthy

Always accepting or saying the right thing looks to be well-intentioned, but you dress it up, hiding what you think isn’t telling the truth. And as humans, can sense that someone is being false. It might look like just a little white lie to enhance someone’s ego.

6. Absence of confidence that affects your life and career

People find you unreliable because you only tell them what they want to hear, so they are hesitant to trust in you. So you never know what they are really thinking either, which influences you to feel less confident in dealing with them.

7. You end up with fewer friends

Seeking to please everyone is rooted in the fear of rejection. The irony is because you end up resembling less attractive and less trustworthy. Most of the people you are trying to get favor from are often the people who reject you. Perhaps not to your face, but in their hearts.

Without confidence, relationships fade and die. And nobody wants to be exposed to someone who conceals their true feelings.

8. You become more annoyed

You get annoyed by the very people you’re trying to please. Then you feel they are taking advantage of you. But, when you are being honest, you also beat yourself up for trying to get them to like you by putting their wants before your own.

You imagine they only like you because you say yes to their everything. And in reality, you have no way of knowing whether this is true or not, so you become more and more annoyed with them.

9. You avoid things that you love

To please others, you avoid things which love. You should STOP avoiding doing that thing you love. What is right in one person’s mind could be wrong in another person’s mind. Most things are considered subjective. They’re open to interpretation. There is not a set way of doing every single thing in life that’s always the right way. Because of that, people will vary in their views of just how to approach something. If you’re not doing it their way, then how can expect to please them and everyone else for that matter.

10. We all are different in our own experiences

No two people are exactly alike. Since we are all the unique product of our own experiences, and we all have different values and beliefs, we behave differently. Even someone you might think you know well might have a hidden value or belief that reveals itself. When you do something that disobeys or runs in distinction to their particular thoughts

11. No matter what you decide to do, people will always find something to talks about you

The nature of humanity is to talk. We talk about others and try to feel better about ourselves. Gossip is one of the worst ways to pass the time. There’s no sense in gossiping. If you are also gossiping regularly, then you’re filling your life with negativity rather than positivity. It’s harder to push past the status when you live in the negative zone.

Considering that people will always talk, there is not much you can do to please those people. They will always find matter about you to talk. That’s just the nature of groups. They are almost culprit like in their nature. They supply negativity and seeing others hurt. But you simply have to neglect it.

Don’t allow other people’s opinions of you to stop you from doing the things which you really love. You can’t please them all. If you really want to do something, even if you’ve failed a number of times and even if people have spoken negatively about you in the past, do it without any hesitation. Do it for you. Don’t do it for them. Do it because it’s what you really want to do in your life.

12. You will lose your identity by trying to please others

When you try to please others all the time, then you lose yourself. We lose our identities. We live a life of compliance, trying to adapt to the will of others who pressure us to do things that please them rather than that please us.

You should pursue your dreams no matter what. If you don’t want to risk losing your own identity, don’t give up hope. There is light at the other end of the tunnel. Don’t hold all your dreams just because you’re trying to please all the other people around you.

13. If your dreams do not terrify, then they are not big enough

We are often afraid of not pleasing everyone around us when we have big hopes and dreams for the future. We worry about what others might think. We bother about how others might judge us and feel about us. It does not matter what other people will say or think as long as it’s something you’re passionate about. You shouldn’t try to please every single person because it will really impossible to do it. But don’t compromise your dreams for others. You should get out there and pursue them with all your heart.

14. When you try to please everyone, then you are pulling negativity

The Law of Attraction is strong. We don’t even recognize that we attract whatever is in our minds. That’s also why we manage to move towards our greatest fears. And when you try to please everyone, you just end up pulling more negativity

You can’t please them all. Be careful about the things that you’re thinking or saying daily. Our behavior is habit driven. It is hard to always notice the habits that are holding us back.

Conclusion

There are several reasons why it’s impossible to please everyone if you wish to succeed, and while this information might not completely relieve your worries, reduce your stress, or eliminate all your fears for pursuing your dreams, it will probably allow you to realize that nobody will be completely pleased with your actions all the time.

Don’t allow peer pressure to hold you back. Set your goals sky high. You can achieve anything just you put your mind into it. It doesn’t mean what other people say or think about you. As long as you’re doing what makes you satisfied, that is what is important. As long as, deep down from your inside, you’re satiated, and you’re doing things for the right reasons with the right motivations, you should never feel sorry for it.

Success Is Not A Destination, It’s A Checkpoint

Success Is Not A Destination, It's A Checkpoint

We should remember that Success is not a destination, it’s a checkpoint, being successful is not the same as reaching a destination. While we should be satisfied in life, it is always important to keep the flame going the quest to know and explore more. We should not stop ourselves from discovering more in life. If we take success to be a journey, then we will continue to navigate. This will make our lives more productive and help us discover those things that might have gone wrong. It makes life more enriching because it encourages us get more views, new people, and enables us to learn.

Our brains are hardwired to reward achievement for good reason.  Working towards improvement is good for our survival and the survival of the community. Our desire to succeed is a good thing if it is built upon our happiness.

Your goals are means that will move you closer to your target, whether you succeed in achieving them or learn from failure.

Check Points of Success

Check below the main checkpoints of Success:

1. Your own happiness is the Starting Point

Success does bring happiness.  The road to success starts and ends with happiness. Reaching a goal does bring happiness, but only for a short period of time before we need to succeed again at something else to feel that burst of happiness from achieving a goal since the previous happy feelings from accomplished goals no longer matter.

2. Fear of Success or Failure

Some people are scared they will fail or, even worse, that they may actually succeed. As such, they don’t even bother trying to attain a goal. Such people require to believe in themselves and their potential. If people fail, everyone will think negatively of them. And if people succeed, people will be jealous and think negatively of them. But you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Believe in yourself and your abilities and others will, too.

3. Goal-Setting Mistake

Several people mistakenly conclude that goal setting just means putting a goal on paper, setting a date for the fulfillment, marking off checkpoints as they transpire, and then starting all over again. The goal isn’t a one-time thing that you eventually scratch off a list.

Setting a goal is really about changing yourself for the long-term. Goals aren’t short-term, quick-fix things; they are fixed and immovable destinations that show the world whom you want to become or what you want to achieve.

4. Lack of Dedication to the Goal

Peoples want to achieve a certain goal, in truth, they’re really not committed to it. Because of this lack of dedication, they don’t give the act of goal achievement their full effort. And as with anything in life, if you don’t give it your all, you receive mediocre results. Commitment is crucial for attaining any goal.

5. Sedentary

After establishing a goal, writing down dates, and setting checkpoints, some people stop. They never actually take that first step required to progress toward their goal. But if you don’t get started, you can’t go anywhere. Without action, nothing happens. So if you’ve created a goal list and now wonder why none of your goals are ensuing, ask yourself what action steps you’ve taken to accomplish your goals. If you haven’t taken any action yet, then this is the time to start.

6. Recognize and Celebrate Progress

This not only helps to keep the big picture as the center focus, but it also motivates me to keep moving.

7. Analysis Paralysis

Many people let questions and doubts paralyze them. People believe they can’t start on a goal until they have all the answers to every what-if scenario. Though, no matter how long and hard you prepare, you will never have all the answers to the questions you ask.

Additionally, most people make their decisions and/or answer their questions based on where they are right now, rather than on where they want to go or who they want to become. Always base your choices and answer your questions with a view to the future, not a view of current situations.

Your situation will change because of the decisions you make today and will deliver the success of your journey. So, move ahead toward your goal knowing that you’ll never have all the answers.

8. Lack of a Real Purpose

People often begin setting goals without a solid destination of whom they want to become or what they ultimately want to achieve. But if you don’t have a goal in mind, then you’ll never know which road to take to get where you want to go. Your goal needs to be clear something you can envision and describe to others. Without such a clear view of what you want in life, you’ll be forever changing course and falling short of your potential.

9. Failing to Plan

While several people understand the formula of goal setting, they don’t have a plan for purpose attainment that’s personalized to them and their experiences. In other words, they ignore the benefits they hold which can help them attain the goal, as well as the people they know who may be able to help them. We each bring so many unique talents and attributes, and we know a multitude of people who can help us in some way. Be mindful of these advantages during your planning process and use the resources you have available to you.

10. Having too many goals

Some people have too many goals so they are not enough focus. It is like that they’re standing in front of a dartboard with three targets in mind. Hitting just one target is hard enough, hitting three targets concurrently with one dart is impossible. Therefore, determine the one goal you are focused on and move forward with that one goal only.

Eliminate other secondary goals. This is not about to say that you should never have more than one goal. First, you need to recognize that you have only so much time and energy. Hence, choose the goal that will give you the highest return on effort and focus on that one goal first. If one complete,  then you can then focus on other goals in sequence.

11. Feeling Offended by the Result

Some people really don’t believe they’re deserving of attaining the goal. As such, they self-sabotage themselves. Possibly they suddenly walk away from the key connection who will help them with their goal, or they ignore to do a critical activity that will allow them to achieve their goal. People who feel unworthy usually lack self-confidence, and confidence is the keystone to goal attainment.

12. Lack of Motivation to Change

Finally, many people are simply satisfied with what they have and where they are in life. As such, they don’t traverse what else is available or what greater things they could achieve. Research determines that there are only two motivating factors that let people change pain and pleasure.

And even if someone is feeling pain in a situation, that pain may not be great enough, or he or she is simultaneously receiving ample pleasure, so the person doesn’t strive for more. Change and goal attainment only happen when you’re ready to break the status quo and truly want something better in life.

Conclusion

Goal achievement doesn’t have to be a difficult point. You really can be that you want and do what you want. By balancing your goals into the four categories mentioned and avoiding the mistakes that hinder people’s results, you can achieve any goal you set for yourself and reach new levels of personal and professional success.

If you start with happiness, create a personal definition of success that is a valid destination, and determine your meaningful purpose which will provide your direction and the structure for your goals, the rest of the way becomes a fulfilling journey.

Happiness leads to success.  Success in meaningful, productive pursuance does bring happiness, which then becomes the vehicle on the road to more success.
