Exercise 1
A:

The Tiger King was the king of Pratibandapuram and his real name was Jilani Jung Jung Bahadur. When he was born the astrologer predicted that one day the price will die. Then the infant who even don’t speak when they are 10days old suddenly spoke and asked astrologer the reason of his death. Then everyone got shocked that how a 10 days old infant can speak. And then astrologer told that he would be killed by a tiger. And prince said ‘let Tigers beware’ and therefore due to this incidence he got a name of Tiger King.

Exercise 2
A:

When the prince grew up he became the king of Pratibandapuram with the view of killing 100th tiger because he wanted to make the prediction of astrologer false that he would be killed by 100th tiger. Therefore he killed all the tiger of Pratibandapuram.

Exercise 3
A:

As he killed all the tigers of his village so he decided to get marry a girl who not only belongs from a royal family but also has a large number of tigers in her village in the view that his father in law will let him kill all the tigers.

Exercise 4
A:

Now it was the time of killing 100th tiger, the king would have to be very careful. He decided when he will see the tiger he would lock his aim and will shoot the tiger and after confirming the death he would enjoy and will leave the place quickly.

Exercise 5
A:

If the king could kill the 100th tiger then the astrologer would have to cut his tuff and have to be bald. But unfortunately astrologer died before he could kill the 100th tiger. And the prophecy cannot be indisputably disproved because neither he killed the 100th tiger nor he was killed by a real tiger as when he shot tiger the bullet got missed and the tiger died due to the sound of the gun shot and also due to wooden toy tiger he died when a small sliver of wooden tiger pricked in his hand.

Exercise 6
A:

The story definitely is the satire on the conceit of those in power. From the very beginning the king known to be an extremely conceited person. When he was 10 days old he suddenly spoke “let the tiger beware” and challenged the prediction of the astrologer. When he grew up he killed all the tigers in his village and later he married a princess of another village which had most number of tigers so that he could kill 100 tigers. He gave 50 rings to foreigner to show his power of money and richness. He killed 99 tigers in actual because 100th tiger was killed by the sound of the fire of bullet but he thought he killed 100th tiger and started celebrating. However, the astrologer’s prediction stood vindicated as the king was killed by a wooden tiger as a small sliver of wooden tiger pricked in his hand.

A:

The author created some humour in the story and also he shows that how the human kills innocent animals or creatures just to show their superiority and fancies. In the story the king killed 99 tigers and he got his punishment. Just to show his power and legacy and to prove astrologer wrong he killed 99 tigers.

A:

The minions were not so sincere towards the king. They just follows his order due the fear of king as if they will disobey the order of king the king surely punish them or they will loose their jobs and also they obey his order just to be in good books of king. Dewan who should have advised the king not to kill the tigers did not dare to go against his wishes and aided his marriage to a princess whose father’s kingdom had most number of tigers. Even when king purchased the wooden tiger, the shopkeeper sold it with higher price he had fear if he would sell it on cheap price the king would punish him.

But in today’s political order there is some similar things. In today’s era many people are in power not only because of their ability but also by their influence and power. And many joins politics to earn money but some joins to do something good for the country.
