Explain the composition of triglyceride.
Answer
Triglyceride which is formed by esprification of a single molecule of glycerol, with three molecules of fatty acids. It is mainly present in vegetable oils and animal fat.
Structure of triglyceride
These three fatty acids can be same or different.
