Media play main role in democracy in these ways:
They make the people know about certain issues. They increase the policies and programmes of the government. They also condemn the disliked policies and programmes of the government. They help in making the belief of the people. They also account various crimes, troubles and accidents, etc. The media also announce the beliefs of the public about certain issues.
Think of something common that we use. It could besugar, tea, milk, pen, paper, pencil, etc. Discuss through what chain of markets this reaches you. Can you think of the people that help in the production or trade?
Choose two of your favourite print advertisements. Now, look at each of these and answer the following questions:
