State the two Kirchhoff’s laws. Explain briefly, how these rules are justified?
Kirchhoff’s laws:
First Law: The algebraic sum of the currents meeting at a junction in a closed circuit is zero.
Second Law: The algebraic sum of changes in potential around any closed path of an electric circuit involving resistors and cells in the loop is Zero.
These law are justified on the basis of law of conservation of charge and the law of conservation of energy, respectively.
