बालक से जितने भी प्रश्न पूछे गए वे सभी प्रश्न उसकी उम्र और योग्यता से ऊपर के है जेसे धर्म के लक्षण रसो के नाम तथा उनके उदाहरण पानी चार डिग्री के नीचे ठंड फेले जाने के बाद मछलिया केसे जिदा रहती थी I

बालक ने ऐसा इसलिए कहा क्योकि उसके पिता ने उसे इस प्रकार का उत्तर रटा रखा है यह एक सवाद था जिससे बोलने वाला व्यक्ति वाह वाह पाता था पिता ने सोचा होगा कि इस प्रकार का सवाद सिखाकर उसकी योग्यता पर श्रेष्ठता का ठप्पा लग जाता था I

लेखक का जब बालक से परिचय हुआ था उसे वह सामान्य बच्चो जेसा ही लगा था परन्तु उसका अपनी उम्र से अधिक गभीर विषयों पर उतर देना था लेखक को दुखी कर गया था वह समझ गया था कि पिता द्वारा उसकी योग्यता को इतना अधिक उभारा गया था कि इसमें बालक का बालपन तथा बालमन डीएम तोड़ चुका था I

1. जब आठ वर्ष के बालक को नुमाइश के लिए श्रीमान हल्दी के सम्मुख ले जाया गया था I

2. जब बालक को सभी लोग घेरकर ऐसे प्रश्नों के उत्तर थे जो उसकी उम्र के बालको के लिए समझना ही कठिन था I

3. जब उसने इनाम माँगने के लिए कहा गया था उससे लड्डू की अपेक्षा किसी और ही तरह के इनाम माँगने की बात सोची गई है जब उसने बाल के अनुरूप इनाम माँगा था सभी बड़ो की आँखे बुझ गई थी I

 छोटे बालक की स्वाभविक प्रर्वतिया होती थी कि वह जिद करते थे अन्य बच्चो के साथ खेले थे ऐसे प्रश्न पूछे जो उसकी समज से प्रे थे खाने पीने की वस्तुओ के प्रति आकर्षित और ललायित हो सका था रंगों से प्रेम करते थे हरदम उछले कूदे अपने सम्मुख आने वाली हर वस्तु के प्रति जिज्ञासु थे शरारते करते थे जो उसे और बच्चो के समान ही बनाती है लेखक को विश्वास है कि अब भी बालक बचा हुआ था और प्रयास किया जाता था I

लेखक ने धर्म का रहस्य जानने के लिए घड़ी के पुर्जे का दृष्टात दिया था क्योकि जिस तरह घड़ी की स्र्चना जटिल होती थी उसी प्रकार धर्म की सरचना समझना भी जटिल थी हर मनुष्य घड़ी को खोल तो सकता था परन्तु से दोबारा जोड़ना उसके लिए सभव नही होता था वह प्रयास तो कर सकता था परन्तु करता नही था उसका मानना होता था कि वह ऐसा कर ही नही सकता था परन्तु उसे दोबारा जोड़ना सभव नही होता था I

यह बिलकुल भी सत्य नही था कि धर्म का रहस्य जानना वेदशास्त्रज्ञ धर्माचार्यो का ही काम था धर्म बाहरी रूप से जितना जटिल दिखता था वह उतना नही था यह भी निर्भर करता था कि लोग उसे किस प्रकार से व्यवहार में लाए थे लोग वर्त पूजा, नमाज – रोजे इत्यादि को धर्म मान लेते थे और सारी उम्र इन्ही नियमो में पड़े रहते थे परन्तु धर्म की परिधि बहुत सरल थी अपने आँखों के आगे गलत होते मत देखो सत्य का आचरण करते थे I

 घड़ी का कार्य ही समय का ज्ञान करवाना था वह समय बताती थी इसलिए मूल्यवान था लोग तभी उसका प्रयोग करते थे यदि घड़ी का मूल्य ही समाप्त हो जाता था इसी प्रकार धर्म सबधी मान्यताए या विचार अपने समय का बोध कराते थे मनुष्य के आरभिक समय में धर्म का नामो निशाँ नही है अत उसके चिह्न हमे नही मिलते थे परन्तु जेसे जेसे मानव सभ्यता ने विकास किया था धर्म सबधी मान्यताए या विचार उत्पन्न होने लगते थे I

अगर धर्म कुछ विशेष लोगो वेदशास्त्र धर्माचार्यो , पड़े पुजारियों की मुठी में था आम आदमी और समाज उसकी कठपुतली बनकर रह जाता था वे उनके स्वार्थ की पूर्ति करने का मार्ग होता था उसे वे समय समय पर चूसते रहते थे इस तरह समाज और आदमी से इनका सबध शोषक और शोषण रह जाता था I

यह कथन सर्वथा उपयुक्त था कि धर्म पर कुछ मुठी भर लोगो का एकाधिकार हो जाता था क्योकि ये लोग धर्म को अपने हिसाब से तोड़ मरोड़ देते थे ये इसे इतना जटिल बना देते थे कि लोग उलझकर रह जाते थे आजादी से पहले के भारत में कुछ इसी तरह की जटिलता विधमान थी I

(क) आज के समय में धर्मगुरूओ ने धर्म के बारे जानने की जिम्मेदारी स्वय ले ली थी इसके बाद वह अपनी सुविधा अनुसार हमे इसके विषय में बताते थे इस तरह हमारे लिए वे उस घड़ीसाज के समान बन जाते थे जो घड़ी को शी कर सकता था I

(2) तुम अपनी घड़ी को किसी अनाड़ी व्यक्ति को देने से डरते थे तुम्हारे इस इनकार को समझा जा सकता था जो व्यक्ति इस विषय पर सब सिख कर आता था जो इसका जानकार था उसे भी तुम अपनी घड़ी में हाथ लगाने नही देते थे यह बात समझ में नही आती थी I

(3) इसका आशय था कि तुम वेद वेदातरो की बात करते थे संस्कृति सभ्यता की बात करते थे धर्म की बात करते थे मगर तुम इस विषय पर कुछ नही जानते थे तुम वेद-वेदातरो में विधमान ज्ञान के रक्षक बनकर लोगो को बेहकाते हो मगर तुम्हे स्वय इसके बारे में कुछ नही पता था I


Exercise ढेले चुन लो
A:

उस काल में एक हिंदू युवक विवाह करने हेतु युवती के घर जाता है यह प्रथा लाटरी के समान है वह अपने साथ सात ढेले ले जाता है और युवती के सम्मुख रखकर उससे चुनने के लिए कहता है इन ढेलो की मिट्टी अलग अलग तरह की होती है इस विषय में केवल युवक को ही ज्ञान होता है कि मिट्टी कोन से स्थान से लायी गई थी I

इसका पात्र पुरश्री था उसके सामने तीन पाटिया रख दी जाती थी प्रत्येक पेटी अलग अलग धातु की बनी होती थी इसमें से एक सोना दूसरी चाँदी तथा तीसरी लोहे से बनी होती थी प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को यह स्वतंत्रता थी कि वह अपनी मनपसंद पेटी को चुना था अकडबाज नामक व्यक्ति सोने की पेटी को चुनता था तथा वह खाली हाथ वापस जाता था I

मिट्टी के ढेलो से यदि मनुष्य को उसकी मनोवाछत संतान प्राप्ति होती थी फिर कहने ही क्या है मनुष्य को कभी ज्ञान प्राप्त करने की आवश्यकता ही नही होती थी या उसे परिक्षम ही नही करना तह कबीर ने शी कहा था कि यदि पत्थर पूजकर हरी प्राप्त हो जाता था तों में पहाड़ पूजता था

(ख) यह बात वात्स्यायन ने कही है उनके अनुसार जो वस्तु हमारे पास इस समय विधमान थी हमे उसे ही सही कहना था हमारे द्वारा आने वाले कल में या बीते कल में विधमान वस्तु को सही कहना मुर्खता थी कल मोहरे सोने की है या चाँदी है कि वह बात हमारे लिए महत्वपूर्ण नही थी I
