What is Red Data Book?
The World Conservation Union (WCU) which were primarily called IUCN (International Union of conservation of Nature and Natural resources) maintains a document in which it contains all the information about the species that are facing high risk of extinction is called Red list or Red Data Book. Species are classified mainly by the IUCN Red list into the nine groups which are based on the following factors: declining rate, population size, area of geographic distribution and degree of population distribution and at last fragmentation.
