How do elephant living in the tropical rainforest adapt itself?
Elephant is the widely found animal of Indian tropical rainforest. Elephant shows adaptations to the condition according to their habitat. Some of the adaptations shown by elephant are as follows:
- He used his trunk for picking up the food and to drink.
- He used his tusks to tear the bark of trees
- He used its trunk also as a nose so that it can sense strong smell.
- He has thick padded feet, so he can handle his extreme weight.
